About Me

This blog came out of my own experiences. I started with Linux in the 90’s, got my bachelors degree in 2004 and started working at IBM in Brazil. Since then I became a generalist in Unix as a SysAdmin managing HP-UX, Solaris, AIX and Linux for about 4 years. In the next 5 years I was traveling across Latin America being a consultant for performance, complex implementations, and fixing critical situations.

I changed gears to High Performance Computing in 2013 and I have been working with schedulers since that time. In 2015 I moved to New York working on distributed storage for HPC and enterprise workloads. I have been working with Kubernetes as a scheduler since 2017. In 2019 I started using OpenShift as the Enterprise Kubernetes solution. I welcome you to search around for pieces of fixes and experiences I had. Feel free to use but I can’t guarantee that the content will be supported by the companies. Make sure you know what you are doing.
